1. Eligibility and Redemption.
Google Play Gift Cards are exclusively for individuals aged 16 and above who are residents of Germany. These Gift Cards are provided and sold to you by Google Commerce Limited (“GCL”). To utilize a Gift Card, you will need internet access and must qualify for, and possess or create, a Google Payments account in Germany to manage your Gift Card balance. For users aged 16-17, Google Payments enrollment is specifically limited to Gift Card redemption.
These Gift Cards are available as set-value cards, allowing you to purchase a fixed amount, or as variable load cards, enabling purchases up to a maximum value. Redeeming Google Pay Gift Cards is always subject to Google Play balance limits. Once this balance cap is reached, you’ll need to make eligible purchases to decrease your balance before redeeming more Gift Cards.

2. Limitations on Google Pay Gift Cards.
Google Pay Gift Cards can only be used for purchasing eligible items on Google Play. It’s important to note that certain items are not eligible for purchase with Gift Cards, including Google Play Books, specific subscriptions, and hardware. For detailed information on ineligible items, please refer to the Help Center. These Gift Cards cannot be used on other Google platforms or third-party websites.
Furthermore, Google Pay Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash or other types of cards. They are non-reloadable, non-refundable, and cannot be combined with non-Google Play balances in your Google Payments account. Reselling, exchanging, or transferring Gift Cards for value is prohibited. If your Google Play balance is insufficient for a purchase, you can use an alternative payment method to complete the transaction.
3. Fees and Expiration.
There are no fees associated with Google Pay Gift Cards, and they do not have expiration dates. If applicable, any refunded Google Play amounts will be credited back to your Google Play balance for future use, according to these terms of service, unless legally required otherwise.
4. Fraudulent Use.
GCL reserves the right to terminate customer accounts and charge alternative payment methods if a fraudulently obtained Google Pay Gift Card is redeemed or used for purchases on Google Play. It is crucial to ensure the legitimate acquisition and use of your Google Pay Gift Cards to avoid account complications.

If a Gift Card becomes non-functional due to technical issues, the balance of the non-functioning card will be credited back to your account. However, GCL is not liable for failures caused by third parties, such as internet outages, computer or mobile device malfunctions, or internet service or mobile network provider issues that may affect the functionality of a Google Pay Gift Card.
7. General Terms and Conditions.
