What are OBRA Restaurant Gift Certificates?
OBRA gift certificates are your passport to a delightful meal at any of our current restaurant members. It’s important to note a few key details to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience:
- Redeemable at Member Restaurants: These gift certificates can be used at any restaurant that is a current member of OBRA at the time of redemption. Please remember they are not valid at Associate Member businesses.
- Value is Fixed: Each gift certificate holds a value of $25. If the total bill is less than $25, unfortunately, the remaining balance cannot be carried over. However, if the meal cost exceeds the certificate value, the recipient can easily cover the difference directly with the restaurant.
- Expiration Date: To maintain fairness and manageability for our restaurant partners, OBRA gift certificates expire exactly one year from the date of issue. We kindly request that recipients respect this expiration date and avoid presenting expired certificates, as restaurants cannot honor them.
How to Purchase OBRA Restaurant Gift Certificates
We understand the convenience of digital options, but currently, OBRA gift certificates are exclusively available in the traditional paper format. Each certificate is carefully prepared and mailed to you via USPS.
We offer flexible delivery options to suit your gifting needs:
- Direct to Purchaser: By default, we mail the gift certificates directly to you, the purchaser. This allows you to personally present the gift at your convenience.
- Direct to Recipient: If you prefer, we can mail the gift certificates directly to your lucky recipient. We’re happy to include a note indicating it’s a gift from you, adding a personal touch to your thoughtful present. Simply provide the recipient’s name and address on the order form when you make your purchase.
Important Information Regarding Your Order

- Not for Taste of the Beach Tickets: Kindly note that these gift certificates cannot be used to purchase individual event tickets for the Taste of the Beach. This is due to current limitations in verifying authenticity outside of a physical transaction. We are actively working on an online solution for gifting Taste of the Beach experiences in the future.
- Processing Time: We strive to fulfill orders promptly. Generally, please allow a week to 10 days for order processing and delivery. During peak periods or busy project times, fulfillment may take longer.
