Favorite Things Party Gift Ideas: The Ultimate Guide to Delight Your Girlfriends

Favorite Things Party Gift Ideas: The Ultimate Guide to Delight Your Girlfriends

I’m so excited, I’m heading to not one, but two “Favorite Things” parties this week! The best part about these get-togethers is discovering those items that people genuinely adore and use daily. It’s like uncovering hidden gems from your closest friends. I’ve been to beauty-themed ones before which were a blast, but this year, the parties are just based on a price limit, which I think is even more exciting because the gift possibilities are endless!

It really is such a treat to gather with your girlfriends and share your tried-and-true favorites – it’s like the ultimate show and tell for adults! And pajamas are often encouraged, which is always a win. Last year, my cute ski pajamas were my absolute go-to for these cozy occasions!

When I polled my Instagram followers for their Favorite Things Party Gift Ideas, I got an amazing response! So, combining their brilliant suggestions with some of my personal go-to’s, I’ve put together a list to spark your inspiration.

Here are some of my top favorite things party gift ideas that are sure to be a hit:

The Versatile Quilted Bag – Seriously, you can’t go wrong with this quilted bag. It comes in a rainbow of colors, and I’ve yet to meet someone who doesn’t love it. The size is just perfect – think carry-all, gym companion, diaper bag extraordinaire, or the ultimate tote for all the kid essentials you need on hand. I personally use mine constantly!

Stanley Tumblers are Always a Winner. Who doesn’t adore a Stanley? The 40 oz Quencher is definitely the most coveted, and they just launched a new leak-proof, flip straw version that I’m dying to try. If you think 40 oz is too much, it also comes in a 30 oz size, which might be a better fit for some. Personally, I’m currently obsessed with this 30 oz IceFlow Flip Straw with the handle. Both sizes are available in a fantastic range of colors and hit a great price point for a party gift. While Stanley tumblers were incredibly novel a few years ago when they were harder to find (I brought one to a Favorite Things party then, and people went wild!), they are still incredibly popular. Now, gifting a Stanley is more about giving someone a new color they love or a replacement for their well-loved, slightly battered one. You know, for those moments when you might accidentally leave it on the roof of your car and drive off… Yes, I’ve done that. Twice.

The Game-Changing Adjustable Pillow. I know I talk about this pillow a lot, but I truly believe anyone who doesn’t own one would be absolutely thrilled to receive it. The magic is in the adjustability – you can customize it to be as firm or soft as you like for your perfect night’s sleep. And even if someone already has one, trust me, they’re probably obsessed and would be ecstatic to have a spare for another room or as a backup!

Elevate the Ambiance with Scent. I’ve raved about this particular scent and this diffuser before, but I genuinely think they make an exceptional favorite things gift, so I had to include them here too! A beautiful scent can transform a home, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

The Ultimate Cozy Throw Blanket. I’m a big fan of throw blankets, but only if they are truly amazing quality. You absolutely can’t go wrong with gifting one of these incredibly soft blankets – they are unbelievably plush. Or, for a lighter weight but equally buttery soft option (plus, they take up less storage space!), this newly launched blanket is fantastic. Trust me, I spent the whole day wrapped in it with the girls at the photoshoot! Use code JEN15 for a discount!

Skincare Savior: High Frequency Facial Wand. I was gifted this high frequency facial wand and have since gifted it myself multiple times when the party theme is skincare or beauty. It’s such a fantastic gift because it addresses a range of skin concerns. Inevitably, there’s always a bit of friendly competition to snag this one!

Party Update! I just went to my first “Favorite Things Party” of the season (two more to go!), and I have to share the highlights! And, not to brag, but my gifts were a hit! I brought three of the quilted bags I mentioned earlier, and they were chosen first, so I even won a prize! The format of this party was that everyone brings three of the same unwrapped item so everyone can see all the gift options. Then, we drew numbers to pick our gifts in order. Everyone went home with three genuinely awesome gifts! It was incredibly fun, hilarious, and I learned about so many cool new products that people swear by. The price limit was $50 per gift, and everyone really maximized their budgets thanks to Black Friday sales, so we all got amazing value. My next two parties are the traditional kind where you bring just one wrapped gift, which is easier on the budget and adds a fun surprise element when unwrapping.

Here’s what I came home with from the party:

Other gifts that were a huge hit at the party included:

  • Luxurious candles
  • Gourmet snacks or treats
  • Cozy socks or slippers
  • Fun kitchen gadgets
  • Trendy jewelry pieces

Major kudos to my friend Sandy for being an amazing working mom and hosting such a fantastic party and bringing so many wonderful women together! As someone who loves to host, I know how much effort goes into it, and she totally nailed it. Love you, Sandy!
