Downtown Gift Certificates are a fantastic way to support local businesses. Think of them like a check specifically for downtown shops and restaurants, but remember, Downtown Gift Certs are not redeemable for cash at your personal bank. All sales are final.
Orders are typically processed and mailed or available for pickup within two business days via USPS. If you’ve chosen local pickup for your online order, please remember pickups are only during our regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

Gift Cert FAQs
Who should I write in the “To” field on the Gift Cert?
The “To” field is for the recipient of the gift certificate, the person you are giving it to, not the business where it will be used.
I own a business downtown. Do I need to sign up to accept these Gift Certs?
No enrollment is needed. Treat these gift certificates just like a regular check. Deposit them directly with your bank. If the gift cert value is more than the customer’s purchase, simply provide change.
Do Downtown Gift Certs expire?
Yes, they do expire after 6 years from the issue date. The expiration date is clearly marked on each gift certificate.
I found some old Gift Certs that are expired. Are they useless?
Not necessarily! Bring your expired certificates to our office, and we can extend the expiration date by one month.
Will every downtown business accept these Gift Certs?
Most downtown retailers and restaurants happily accept these certificates. However, there are a few exceptions. Businesses that currently do not accept them include Lululemon, Fat Face, Union Street Station, Good People Hair Collective, Barrio, Truth Seeker Tattoo, Lume, & Talbot’s. To avoid any inconvenience, please confirm directly with the business if they accept gift certs before you make a purchase.
Can I get a refund on Gift Cert purchases?
All gift cert sales are final. Refunds are not available.
